Discussion

High pressure builds into the area today and it should have an influence around here through the remainder of the week. Temperatures will continue to be at moderately warm levels and the chance of showers and thunderstorms will be quite minimal for the next couple of days. Comet NEOWISE is now visible in the evening sky and viewing conditions should be quite good again tonight – look pretty much straight down from the Big Dipper to near the horizon in the northwest sky about an hour or so after sunset (i.e., around 9:30 PM).
