Air Canada beats third quarter estimates on strong bookings

Air Canada reported better than expected results for the third quarter on Oct. 30 as strong advance ticket sales point to growing demand for international travel.
The airline topped analyst estimates as it reported adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $1.83 billion, a $773-million increase from the third quarter of 2022 and 17 per cent above the consensus of $1.57 billion.
